I found a guy who has developed a cid system that changes the timing curve and adds top end that is surprisingly strong he is on e-bay under the name netsharpsooter his idea is a great improvement in the last few years. also I have noticed on my motors that the magneto case has a tendency to hols water I found that if you seal the wires coming out with clear rtv and putting a one way valve in the side of the case it eliminates the problem I found this out while coming back from the store with double baskets full and it just shut down no sputter or nothing. its a water and rust problem that I have found in three motors of customers I do maintence on and did the repair I have stated and no complaints the valve can be bought at auto zone for 3.99 its for distributors that have a moisture problem
