I was thinking of using some electrical flexable tubing and wrapping it with exhaust tape.
Get some flexible waterproof 3/4" Liquid Tight Conduit.

It comes with a soft grey plastic sheath,
Slit with a razor blade and it will peel right off.
Conduit is galvanized and doesn't look too bad.

ID is 7/8" and fits over a cut off 2 stroke exhaust.

Is there a difference between what you left with after cutting the rubber off the liquid tight and plain flexible conduit. I'll bet the liquid tight stuff isn't cheep.

$3? foot at Home Depot, you only need about 3'
They will cut it off the roll.

Free from a friendly electrician or off some old equipment.

The liquid tight has much tighter and smoother spirals and
is pretty much sealed compared to plain flexible conduit.

The liquid tight is not as nice as the stainless flex that costs
about $7' and actually holds it's shape down to a 6" radius.

Thanks bro some times you got to break it down for me.
I like that old hump back Yamaha tank.

My pleasure, there used to be a whole thread on exhausts where
it was all laid out but it got deleted......

Put one of these mufflers on the flex and you have an inexpensive
good sounding and performing exhaust.
