8.5 Hp 125cc Piranha: Does mounting position matter?

Does it matter which position (vertical or horizontal) I mount this engine? It's kinda long but I don't care. I just want it in this bike frame somehow some way.

It's a 40 pound, 8.5 Hp, 125cc, 4 Stroke, Piranha (automatic). I don't know the measurements.

I don't know so this is just an opinion: it looks like you might have to mount it like this: / But not that much of an angle.

That's what I was thinking to. I was also wondering if the engine performance would suffer depending on which way I mounted it. Normally the engine is in the horizontal position on the pitbikes it's normally in.
