So I gotta start off by saying I’m still new to the world of mostly anything mechanical, fabricating, welding etc but I love motorcycles and anything old really, tried at getting a concept around these bike builds and I ended up building my own belt drive 79 cc bike. The blue bike, not perfect by any means but it wasn’t meant to be. I’m proud of it. Moving forward I wanted to test my knowledge and expand my limits so I wanted more of a challenge. Next set of pics is my take so far at an old excelsior model. The other pics are before and after so far. Tank had been built from scratch, left out in the rain to get some surface rust. Next step will be choosing a motor and fitting/fabricating frame.
Really great start on both your bikes. You've got skills you didn't recognize & the proof is in the completions one step at a time learn things and build.
