2 golden wheel spoke

Can someone let me know why my bicycle spokes keep breaking. I purchased a goldenmotor electric conversion kit and have already broke two spokes on that same wheel that house the goldenmotor. The wheel came already assembled with the spokes. Are the original spoke just made of weak steel? I know I'm not abusing it.

Can someone recommend a website where I can purchase re-inforced steel spokes for my golden motor wheel?
 
Most of those wheel motors I've seen have a weak spoke pattern, like 2-cross or even less. Looking at the Golden Motor website, they have a very poor spoke pattern.

Just curious, are you using the motor to take off without much pedaling, or are you pedaling up to 5 or 6 MPH before you engage the motor?
 
when i got my kit they sent a couple extra spokes with it. i haven't had any break fortunately.
