2 exhaust questions

1. Is it ok to take the exhaust off the pred 212 while building it. Mounting/fitting, assembling the bike. Obviously not running it, but is it safe to keep the exhaust off while building ? Or is it a bad idea, encase dust/dirt whatever els falls into the exhaust. Can i just cover the hole with painters tape while working around it?

2.Does anyone know of a flex exhaust for the 212 besides the viper poo poo exhaust below?

Just stuff some paper towel in the hole or tape, the link you posted is for a 2 stroke, be restrictive...........Curt

oh shoot, thanks for pointing that out. I think ill go and get some stainless steel flex exhaust then
