tachometer

What are the best options for a tachometer for our bikes? Does it have to specify "for 2 cycle engine", or can I use anything as long as it's for a 1cyl? ...I hate those little square tach/hour meters.. I want regular motorcycle-style tach and speedo gauges... Thanks guys...
