    Mounting plate doesn’t fit the frame.. what are my options?

    The mounting plate does not fit my frame at extended lengths on both sides. Am I safe to purchase longer bolts and to tighten it that way, or does the mounting plate need to be touching the tubes on both sides? Thank you.
