I am building a military themed bike for my father-in-law (Retired US Army Officer). The plan is to use a GT2A frame and HT engine kit as a starting point. Well the frame and engine kit arrived today. Like others, I was amazed at the lightness of the frame. It really does seem like the box is empty...
Anyway, I eagerly ripped open the box to check out the frame and BAM! - I think there is a slight issue with the rear dropout...
Rats, now I have to talk to customer service and get a new frame.
Also, is it typicall for the engine mout to not be welded on straight? It lookes slightly off center which I can't imagine helps a whole lot with chain alignment....
