I wanted to ask about the installation process and requirements for use of this new head. I now you recommend copper head gaskets, but I only have the standard silver ones that comes in most gasket kits. Do you recommend using 1 or 2 of them on my setup? (Zeda 80, 36T sprocket, mixed 32:1 w/castor oil) Also is it better to run premium fuel with this head, and do I need to worry about detonation and stuff like that?

Also my bike 4 strokes up until high rpm, at which point it really gets into the power band and runs much faster. Any idea what could cause that, Jetting or too rich? I know this is a lot of questions, but you tend to be the guy to ask. Sorry this is split up so much, they limit the characters on these comments and I wanted to ask you directly.

James Single gasket only, two gaskets drops the compression ratio too much and can leak as well. Four stroking at lower rpm's stroking isn't a terrible thing it tells me your engine is getting plenty of oil and when it hits the power band it runs well. You might try reducing the oil mix a little but don't over do it. Reducing the oil will make more power but will put more wear on the engine.

Have fun! Rick C.

James the head change may help the 4 stroking by getting a more complete fuel charge burn.

Read the plug after the head change, ride 15 or 20 miles. See if your running too lean. Let me know post a picture of the plug if your not sure.

Will do, ill get it installed this afternoon. Glad to hear my 4 stroking "problem" is more of a good thing. Do you recommend cleaning the plug before riding it those 20 miles, in order to get a more accurate reading? Im assuming it has some pretty significant buildup by this point. Since I have run quite a few tanks through it now.
