At this point I have owned this bike for around 3 months and in that time I have spent on accessories. Bicycle Bling-Bling and the total has climbed.
This is the modification to the tail end that includes adding a Balance Buddy, the help your kids learn to ride and or tow bar, on to the end of a Schwinn Book Rack.
The Schwinn Book Rack is nicely made. Deserves respect from a fabrication point of view but to add Panniers I need a down tube back there and so here comes the Balance Buddy modification as well as the Tail light assembly.
The first photos will be of mock-up and the last should be the road ready version. At this time I am also changing out engines and upgrading the lighting Bling-Bling.
