After all of the work I have been putting into this bike, the last thing I'd want is for it to tip over. My bike is rather heavy, so, I purchased an adjustable double kickstand. I must confess, I was thoroughly disappointed with the stability. Don't get me wrong, it did indeed hold the bike upright, which was nice, but it was actually easier to tip the bike over than it was with the stock schwinn kickstand. The legs formed a base of only about 8 inches which made it rather easy to topple over. I set out to make a more stable kickstand. I can confidently sit on my bike and pedal like crazy, run the motor or park in on an incline sideways, if need be.....
