I got a solo/bobber motorcycle seat for my b-day last month
I spent a while trying to figure out how to mount it to my bike
(they normally mount with a swivel at the front and the rear springs get bolted to a perch at the rear)
while on one of my long stress relief rides the idea came to me !!!
I removed the t-bracket from the solo seat, and the seat and springs from my stock springer seat,
and bolted the new seat to the frame
the original front hairpin spring from the bike seat bolted to the front bolt of the solo seat, and some large 1 5/8 od fender washers were used to bolt the springs to the bike seat frame
it seems to work really well, and the hairpin spring seems to help with the 'action' of the rear springs !!!
I think it looks pretty cool as well
