yesterday my mb connection cam by on his mb and in the trailer he had an extra cns carb brand new so a little traden and it is mine , well smart guy me I spent the day removing the tank and rewiring and installing this cns carb,I can't get this thing to pop I don't know what to set the screws at to start and am not so clear on how to tune it I've looked at a ton of sites and the info conflicts so I'm asking in the humblest way o MB sages can you share your vast amount of knowledge on this jewel I am adding to my steed?any help would be appreciated Thank you Bob OK OK Here's an update......I read my post and the prob was there"removing the tank and rewiring" well when I remounted the tank I moved the boot on the blue wire so no spark. I deducted this by replacing the stock carb and no workey so thats my story . Now how about some tuning tips for this monster? Thanks Bob

Bob ive been runnin this carb for the past few months on my 48cc Grubee skyhawk. Belive me the difference from the NT is night and day, so lets get you there!

The 2 screws on the side are, Air/fuel closest to the air filter and the other is the idle.
You should be able to get away without touching the air fuel but if not screw it out so you can see a few threads. when its running i adjust that on the fly.
set the idle to what you want again when running.

A hose only goes to the lowest nipple and hang that down low, fuel will only ever come outta here if the bowl level is to high or in most of my cases from crap getting stuck in the feed needle and seat forceing it open.
EVERY other nipple and fitting ( besides fuel) should be left open!

Check where the e clip is on the slider needle

The choke is useless on my carb as its not easier to start at any time with it on, i use it to turn it off.

These are funny lil carbs im quite supprised that my 48cc runs without any jet change

I cannot think anymore, if i have left anything out letme know.

Yes, stv it works great thank you for the tips,I took it for a 24 mile putt today and the plug looks great, it has less vibration ,and lots more top end,I changed to a 36 tooth rear sprocket so the gearing seems too high on the low end but it rips on the top end. We'll see how it does on the Christmas eve ride tomorrow with Edge and the guys Thanks for the tips ,Later Bob
