U all seen my minarelli build, what carb should I use that's pre tunned or easy jetting with jets?

Flat or barrel slide?

Changing the carburetor won’t get you much if any increase in power if your current carburetor is properly jetted.

There isn't anything pre tuned... Depends on the size of the intake 21-22-24mm then it's a few options OkO khlin - dlorto and there's a few of those depending on clamp on or hose fitting and mikuni pz... The carb is going to make it run not faster necessarily...
A tuneing kit for the carb.. main pilot needles elmusion tube is where the name brand stuff really shines

No carb change will get you from 25 to 40mph. Looks someplace else for that kind of gain.

Gearing and shift kits or /build the motor to scream but no bottom... 40mph is flat out no pleasure Cruse at 10k asking for something to come loose... But 20 with some head room is were I'm at on a bicycle frame...

To my understanding my HP carb can only have the jets changed, no way to change the air/mix intake, so changing jets for this carb is useless .... almost

More air in = more air out with 2 strokes so in theory bigger gets and bigger air intake should equate to more top speed

My current carb restricts the intake, I have the vm18 intake with a smaller fitting to the HP carb

More air in = you reach top speed sooner with a pipe to match the toque curve determined by the gearing and weight... Theory... The vm is the way to go without the restriction... There's a Ballance just go smaller on the rear sprocket and give up some acceleration for top end... When you go to small you loose top end because the engine can't power the gearing... I can go faster with 44 than a 32 because I'm fat billboard and it's too much but there is a sweet spot for everyone the engine is part of the whole picture

Well do as you wish. Just don’t be surprised when the new carb, whatever is costs, gets you from 25mph to 27mph.

Something doesn’t sound right, 25 is more like a out of the box 48cc engines speed. I have two 48cc engine bikes that both do over 30 , I would think your port timing may be wrong, any carb should supply more than enough mixture to reach 30 mph.

I don't know how my timing could be wrong, I have a Athena 70cc cylinder on my bottom end? And how come I see people with same setup as me doing 40+mph on YouTube? Only diff I can see is our carbs?
Thanks for all your guys help tho :)

OK this is my 70cc Athena build with alternator (yes I know alternator affects top speed ..I only lost 4mph with it).... That aside

As you can see I'm using a VM18 manifold braised to brass fitting, I have no vacuum leaks!!!!
As you can see the brass fitting in the photo to accommodate the carb size is tapered compared to the actual VM18 size.... In comparison

Slime tubes, tires with Kevlar lining
Bikeberry super magneto and stage 2 CDI
36 tooth gear sprocket
420# drive chain (motoredcycle chain)
This build also has ceramic full complement stainless steel crank bearings

I tried one of those carbs and the only good thing about it was the auto choke release. Everything else was worse than my original. If you can’t beat 25 then you have something fundamental wrong. Try a stock carb for a reality check.
