He has a Pred 212 and AGK tranny, has nothing to do with the OP's setupDamn scotto, what kinda engine you got in that thing,a deisel?
40T gets you ~31.5MPH @ 7K, 36T gets you 35, 32T gets you to almost 40. I recommend a 36T.I have the same question as the OP.
I have a huasheng 49cc with the 80/10 4G transmission. What's the smallest I could go on the sprocket with 24 inch wheels?
Because with the HP you have, having the HP peak come at 35MPH is ideal. With a 32T, the engine would be lugging below 20MPH. Your clutch wouldn't fully engage until ~15MPH. I think a 32T is too small - you'd have poor low-speed characteristics on engine power and very little hill-climbing power. Besides, the engine is capable of revving to 8K without problems. With a 36T, 8K is 40MPH. With a 32T that's 45MPH and you'd never make it there unless you went downhill or had a great tailwind. Why are you recommending the 36t? Is that ratio(14.4:1) all this motor can handle? I can switch up the pedal side to help with takeoffs and hills.
An AGK tranny? Better have another look.......He has a Pred 212 and AGK tranny, has nothing to do with the OP's setup
it'll probably climb trees...... I went ahead and got a 40t with a pirate cycles adapter. Lets see what that does.
I had meant to say "AGK style" but forgot to type "style" lolAn AGK tranny? Better have another look.......
That my friend is an original scotto-matic tranny......don't mistake it for those cheap imitations on the market The only thing AGK about it is the 26t sprocket and the 5/8" adapter it's bolted to. Scotto-matic*......smooth as glass!I had meant to say "AGK style" but forgot to type "style" lol
