Re: things you like to see made for MBs

Kyle,
One item of consideration I see with your proposed offerings is the possibility of pedal crank clearance on many bikes with a finned side cover. Keep in mind that a lot of bikes don't offer much in the way of space in that area and to machine or cast in fins might cause some problems with some customers. As for ideas; how about a commercially available clutch cable/pully linkage such as several members here have fabricated themselves. It seems to be a popular modification that could be easy to make and mass produce. Another popular item with limited availability is a rear sprocket/hub adapter. They seem to be in high demand but limited in quanity. Keep us informed and let's see some pictures of your products.

Hi Kyle,

Nice stuff!...I like the V Twin!!....

I'd like to see a large cylinder kit / piston for more displacement / power.

thanks for the input, as far as sprocket hubs we don't want to intrude on someone else's products, there's no way i could compete with manics prices anyway, his are the best made lowest cost you could ever find.

I suspect a better tensioner design would be a popular item, fairly simple and low overhead too FTW

A powerful ignition with adjustable timing!
Amen on the adjustable timing. It is the single most important item that will help or hurt engine performance on the Chinese 2 stroke. It has been my experience that ignition timing is THE THING that will decide overall engine performance. Bar none..

I somewhat disagree with that.
Too much advance and you will quickly put holes in the piston.
But a little adjustment could be good.

A correctly ported jug will make all the difference in the world.
The port timing determines what the motor is gonna do.

I second the vote for the clutch cable pulley linkage!
(Especially if you could make it also compatible for bikes with an SBP shifter-kit plate).

Naturally I'm talking about just a couple of degrees adjustment. I have one motor that is 3 degrees advanced over some of my others and it runs circles around them. Any ignition advance has to be approached with caution and a knowledge of what you're doing. You might be right however because in the wrong hands it could spell early distruction of an otherwise good engine. Thanks for clarifying that.

Re: things you like to see made for MBs

Regarding Clutch Pully.

I will have to look at the SBP kit again.

My bracket used the original clutch post to bolt it down.
And yes i fit it under the carb with a billet intake.
Thats a tight fit.

With the shift kit it might be nessessary to mount the Cable Barrel differently.
Maybe you can mount it right to the shift kit plate.
I think it is doable.
