Since you arent running reverse levers, have you considered old levers rather then the lever supplied with the kit..... just sayin

Yep, I am looking for some nice levers right now, just mounted the one on the pics for testing the clutch.
No Schwalbe Big Apple tires, Hartje Zeppelin 28x2.35, I am also considering Schwalbe Fat Franks 28x2.0 in creme white- the biggest you can get in creme white without spending 600$ for white tires- would make the bike look more vintage, but not as wide as the Hartjes

We have had our first classic cars & Bikes show last weekend with a flea market, found nice levers and a fantastic almost 100 years old leather helmet, which has been used at boardtrack racing with stayers and bikes... paid 150$ for it, but it is a real thing, no repro and has a fantastic patina!

Your bars and helmet look awesome....... and WOW i wish we had bike shows like that here. I would be the first to arrive and last to leave. Very nice bikes there
Nice show! A lot of unusual and rare bikes for sure. Did you show yours? Can you model the helmet and goggles for us? I want to see the real deal worn.
yep, the helmet looks great and fits exactly my head... even my wife fell in love with it, looks like I have to wear it for her in special situations... ;-)

Page 25 post 245 has the Picture #4 of 5 (bike on tank say Lion Peugeo, you see what I know as a Link-Belt I got at Harbor Freight made in Italy or another brand Power Twist Plus I found while at Grainger that looks same, cost a bit more made in USA.
I could see it on the opposite side of the bike through the frame. Also on the closer side of the frame by the saddle bag or carrier, an extra type section belt coiled up and tied on the side.
They are I guess then able to work well, I've not yet tried mine on my current build yet. I thought there would not be as much grab (friction) to get the pulleys to turn the wheel and would slip under load, but I checked and only a small portion of either regular or section belt actually contacts the pulley. It is only near the top edge of the pulley, so I see why there should be no practical difference.

WHOA! Too much info there LOL, just make sure when you post the pics of you wearing the helmet, that they are of you in the garage and not the bedroom, Thanks hahahaha
Don't be sure that the garage may not also be a special place, more directly ask that pics don't get your banned from not just chat, but motorbicycling all together
I really like watching the episode of "That 70's Show" where Kitty thought that Red's purchase of what looks like a Honda Trail Bike under 100cc, was a bad purchase. She though a diamond ring for here would be a better purchase. Red says it's shiney like a ring. Eventually after Red has Kitty on the back of the bke holding on, she wants to keep the Hog as she calls it. It's not explicitly mentioned why, except that revving the motor seems to be a factor.

when winter ends, that will probably be in march/april. At the moment we have 12F, a bit too cold for riding motorbikes ;-)
Maybe use studded tires, and add ice runner or snow ski kind of training wheels.... or maybe not?
