What bike did you use? What is the size of your frame? Iam ready to buy the CVT right now if I could find what kind of bike I could squeeze this motor into. Have any info as to the size opening in the frame Ill need to fit this motor? This is what Iam looking at now: 26" 7 Speed Beach Cruiser Bicycle Bike Large Size | eBay
The bike in the link is the same bike I used. My bike is the single speed version. I like how the 7 speed comes with rim brakes front and back. This would be good braking for a 49cc build. You'd probably want a disc up front for a 6.5hp build.

Great minds think alike. What do you think about the wheels that came with this bike? I plan on swapping them out with disc wheels. Ill keep the back brakes and put a sprocket on the wheel instead of the disc. Then some how setup a disk brake on the front. Iam thinking about putting a springer fork on the front. Here is the one Iam thinking about:

they make "tophat" adapters so you can run BOTH the disk and the sprocket on rear wheel...I believe the kings sprocket sight has 'em

That sounds good but I need a 26 by 1.75 wheel with one speed hub and a 6 hole bolt pattern for a disk. Does anyone know where I can find such a wheel? Would a 26 by 1.5 wheel do the job for my 26 by 2.125 tire? If I have to use a multy speed wheel can anyone post a link to the multy speed to one speed hub adapter? I have the bike Ive brazed on a motor mount have the CVT bolted up to my HF 6.5 hp motor now I need a rear wheel and Iam almost done. I will try to take some pics tomorrow. Also the carb it sticking out right where my leg needs to be is there a work around to get the carb out of the way?

Hi guys Ive been very busy with 2 new builds. Ill be able to upload some pics soon I hope. Just brazing on my bearing holders for my jack shaft for the 200cc build. I should then be able to bolt every thing up and take this bad girl for a ride. Also have my first Cranbrooke build done just trying to get rid of the bogging (8000+ feet elev). Both of these build seem to LOOK better then any of my other builds.

Take a real good look at this Bike. AGK did a great build. Those of us that were at the Willow Race knows how fast this bike is, Blazing fast.....There is not a bike around anywhere that can touch it. I predict there will not be a bike for a long time that will be able to touch it, unless AGK builds it. I was very impressed and I don't get impressed by anything. Seriously it's that fast!

Sorry to hijack the thread.

The # 81 AGK bike was totally outside of the hp rules for the
Motorized Bicycle race at Willow Springs.

The HIGHLY MODIFIED # 81 AGK 6.5 hp HF bike will be racing in
the truly Unlimited Class and NOT in the under 11 hp Class.

Anyone else that wants to build a monster motored bicycle can only
ride it in the Unlimited Class at the next SoCal race on Oct 22nd

The rule is no gas motors over 11hp which caps the class out with
bikes like a 11 hp water cooled Morini. Also no motorcycle tires.

If you are planning on entering a bicycle that is close to the limit you
need to get it approved by me. If you think you can sneak it in
remember that I make the final decisions at that race.

High praise. Curious, was it the largest displacement bike there or others in the same class?
CulverCityClassic #6 was racing his stunning custom framed flat tracker with the same
6.5 hp HF motor that he had tilted upright. I voted for it in the Piston Bikes bike show.
It was modified with AGK parts to about 11 to 12 hp.

CulverCityClassic do not add any hp to your bike for the next race. You got enough and
you will have to race in the new "Unlimited Gas".....Please call me.
Motorized Bicycle racing is not going to be a hp and money race.

There was another high hp 4 stroke from Bigboys that did not show that will
probably be at the next race.

AGK's bicycle had a 6.5 hp HF motor modded to 18 to 20 hp which costs $1800
It is no longer a motorized bicycle.........the frame, brakes, tires and rider were on the
skinny edge.

Oldtimer, the intake manifold you are talking about will not work with the stock carb. The aftermarket manifold is required to adapt the larger carbs we sell. You can run the stock carb with the stock air filter box and air filter on your bike. A completely stock 6.5hp engine will out perform all of the 2-stroke and 4-stroke bikes we have dealt with at our shop (except the bike pictured above which had some engine modifications).

If you don't like the look of the stock air filter box you can replace it with a carb air filter adapter and high flow air filter. The manifold you saw is not required to do this. If you decide to use a high flow air filter you will need to install a larger main jet. You can PM me or email for help on the correct jet size if needed.

I don't know if you plan to race your bike or not. If not, a stock 6.5hp engine makes more than enough power for a bicycle. If you are going to enter into some races and want a little more power there are a few simple modifications I would suggest. You will need a custom exhaust for your bicycle application anyway. Then I would pull the govenor, install 18lb valve springs, use a high flow air filter and install a larger main jet. This should be enough to do some damage on the bikes at the races. If you take the engine mods much further you may not find a class to race in. The stock 6.5hp engine will already be pushing the limits of the bicycle components.

I already bought the 18 lb springs hi flow air filter and stock carb adapter from you. That setup sticksthe carb right where I need my leg to be lol. I will not race this bike just want something that will last and get me up all my hills here at over 8000 feet. I plan on selling these bikes What I cant seem to find is a good cheap set of suspension forks that fit a 1" non threaded front end. Every thing I find costs WAY to much or is poorly rated. Springers seem to be the only thing I can find for 1" no threads? Can anyone help?

Ok agk what I realy need is a wide crank for our frame. Iam am under the gun and need to get this build done fast so I hope to buy the right stuff first dont have time anymore and I have bought 2 so called wide crank sets that dont cut it. A link would be great for what ever you did to get yourwide crank setup to work. Thanks

Oldtimer, our carb adapter can be modified to help with the clearance issue you are having. Basically we use a curved section from a radiator hose. Cut our manifold in half. Cut out the curved section of radiator hose you want to use. Insert each end of the cut adaptor into the radiator hose and use hose clamps to secure them. As I mentioned before you will not even need the carb adapter and aftermarket carb. You can use the stock carb and have enough performance to reach 40+mph and climb very steep hills. If the high flow air filter interferes with peddaling you can cut the rubber boot off the filter. Just use the last 2.5" of the air filter and slide that onto the air filter adapter. This is not a very good picture, but I think you can see how we trimmed the filter down.
