triple tree forks

I am looking at putting a set of tripple clamps on my beach cruiser...
The question is i found some 22" triple tree forks,will the 22" threadless work on a beach cruiser without raising the front up to high like a chopper bike?I want to keep it around the same height in the front,maybe go just a little bit taller,,any opinions would be great..Thanks everyone

You can always slide the tubes up and cut the extra off, I have done this many times.
