I'm pleased to make your acquaintance.
I first had a Japanese motor powered bicycle back in the mid-sixties. Did my afternoon paper route with it. I burnt it up putting model airplane fuel in it to make it go faster. And it did! It had rubber wheels that gripped the inside of the front rim and delivered the drive.
I've got a nice Schwinn nowadays, an S40DSX 26 inch.
What is the best motorized option nowadays for such a bike? It's a 21 speed but I'm getting older and need to get a ride home after a workout. Hunkydory

Welcome to the forum. Take your pick; two stroke, four stroke, electric, frame mount, rack mount. They all work. Pick the one that fits your bike and the way you plan to ride.
By the time you view every bike in the photo gallery, you will have a good idea of what kind of kit you want.

I think that I need a rack mount chain drive but I'm not sure which configuration is best, inside or outside. I'd prefer four stroke because they are probably not so finicky as the two. Do they weigh more? What do these units cost?
