I congratulate you. How did the deal develop? Did he see your bike and ask about it? What kind of negotiating went on?

Sounds like you got a good price...
I hope you are able to replace it for that money... and more harley bags! (nice harley bags, btw)

There's been a step through bike with an HT listed for a while here on craigslist for $300 and an aluminum frame next mtb just popped up with a hongdu for an asking price of $500...

IMO, an assembler would have a difficult time doing it for profit.

I put it for sale at venturabicycles.com..
Guy came in and had to have it.

I did score the bags cheap and have an even nicer yet smaller harley set waiting on the next MB...so although I would have rather had 1200...I got some liquid asset and a license to fly again..LOL!!
