When you order your motorized bike kit the manuel says to put 16:1 mix and than 20:1, well I use 40:1 and It runs great. My first tank of gas was 40:1 mix. Should I use 20:1 or 40:1

40:1 should be just fine.

I've personally run several different oil fuel mix ratios over the years wndnas long as the carb jet is right so the engine doeant run lean on gas, youll be just and if you have the stock main jet still in the kit carb. you should be any where near to running to lean.

I use 32:1 for brand new engines & in customer bikes... For my own personal bikes I use 40:1

I run 32/1 also, I have tried 40/1 with no problems, all my other 2-cycle engines run 32/1 so I switched my bikes to the standard mix I use in everything else.
