Hey all, I've recently installed a 4 stroke kit fromBGF. It has a #25 single row chain and was lubed with grease.
I modified it somewhat succesfully to oil bath, and added a strip of 1/4"nylon under the chain for a simi tensioner/runner in the bottom of the box.
Oil was leaking around the loose fit of the front bearing,and filling up the clutch.I bedded the bearing with silicone and drilled a oil weep hole in the bottom of the clutch compartment.
I've got about 200 miles on it so far,no probs yet 'cept a little oil leaks past the seals or the bearing ways in the case.
Just wondering how many miles of service I could expect from this dinky box.
