Re: How come we're not seeing MBs with motors like these?
There is this motor a step up from a china anyway..

A motorcycle has to be registered and insured. These type of bikes are the last freedom left.
Nothing wrong with that motor as long as after you install it you bike is still considered a motor bicycle.
My last get up.. http://motorbicycling.com/f47/morini-time-full-sus-project-9048.html This is what I want now.. http://motorbicycling.com/attachments/f47/21107d1267324898-dave31-scsw-boxer-z6.jpgGoat Herder makes a good point. Care needs to be taked not to turn your bike into a motorcycle for good reason. I think that detail is going over the heads of some.
2-stroke Chinese pocket bike motor 40-49cc.cag motor?
What are you talking about officer......it's a 49cc Kawasaki lawnmower motor.....honestNothing wrong with that motor as long as after you install it you bike is still considered a motor bicycle.

That's one of the reasons why right from the start I've taked pains to try to make my bike look as much like a bicycle, and as little like a motorcycle as possible.
Then I better not catch you doing 70 mph on it again son or I'll have to write you a big fat ticket. Now run along now. What are you talking about officer......it's a 49cc Kawasaki lawnmower motor.....honest
But I was only doing 65 mph mr. police occifer man....honest....Then I better not catch you doing 70 mph on it again son or I'll have to write you a big fat ticket. Now run along now.
Good point yet it is only a 50cc category I think I am referring to. Its not all how fast you can go but there is fun in how fast you can go fast. My average speed is about 30 to 35 miles an hour. It's fun and it's zippie from zero mph too! That's what I like! Those mb going like A bat out of **** are going to ruin it for the
Rest of us. For A little over 1000 bucks you can buy A lifan motorcycle.
My motorcycle goes A little over 65 mph.It has 19800 trouble free kilometers
On it.when I want to enjoy the ride I use my mb it will crurise at 25 mph
And do a little over 30 if I push. It`s not safe to be going much faster
Than that.
Didn't see that at their websiteWell yeah I agree a 30 hp $1,800 cart motor would be over kill, but how about a 5 hp $400 motor?
As I understand Fla law below 50cc is a moped under 100cc is ore than a moped but less than a motorcycle, over 100CC and you need the motorcycle endorsement on your licenseNothing wrong with that motor as long as after you install it you bike is still considered a motor bicycle.

I know the thread has gone away from the original question, but I still wanted to comment on this.Same here. I just wonder if that day will ever come. I think it might if MBs keep gaining in popularity.
I'm just thinking out loud that if people are willing to spend close to 2 large for a stupid kart motor, then a few hundred for a high quality MB motor should be a no brainer.
Looks very nice.just because i mentioned it above, here's the motorcycle with Worksman front wheel, in progress:
