Help me build my TITAN XC50S

Ok im going to start off i need a reliable 4 stroke engine .First off im a noob on building and been browsing around for the last few days.But still unsure about alot of things.Should i build a TITAN XC50S or stick with a HuaSheng 49cc Engine.Basicly if anyone could help me out by giving me links to what i need for the TITAN XC50S to mount it, hook it up ,and getting it running i would really appricate it about 10 miles to work and 10 miles back.If you guys wouldnt mind helping me out .p.s i have mechanically incline friends and have access to a welding shop /lathe /mostly whatever so yeah

TITAN XC50S is basically the same as a HuaSheng 49cc Engine.

Do not believe the unproven claims that the Titan makes more HP.

Both motors are very reliable so the main difference is what gearboxes
the motors can adapt to as the gearbox is the weak link in your build.

Titan has a tapered shaft with the clutch pack built into the side of the
motor.
Huasheng or Honda GXH 50 has a 5/8" shaft output.

Titan only has the option of the cheap pocket bike chain gearboxes now
that version of the Grubee 4G is no longer available.

Huasheng can either use the Grubee 4G or the EZ Motorbike Q Matic
which are best gear boxes available.
The Grubee 4 G will need some upgrades to work reliably.

I didn't say that they weren't made just that you can't buy one now.

Correct, but no one has any of the tapered shaft 4G trans for sale right now.

You also can not buy the 5/8 shaft 4G separately.

You can only buy a 5/8 shaft 4G trans in a kit.

If you know where they are being sold please let us know.

When Bicycle engines says "Temporarily Out of Stock" that means they
might have some next year.

Are you still working on finding the tapered shaft 4G trans version?
because that would be the one for the Titan.

EZ Motorbike made an adapter so the tapered shaft Titan/ Huasheng
can take a pulley to use a Q Matic gearbox but recently said they are
no longer making it due to being too costly.

Even if you could get one of those adapters why would you buy the
wider and more expensive Titan when you could get a Huasheng?

Damn you can't get a 5/8" shaft huasheng motor! You could get one as a
EZ Motorbike Q Matic kit for $600?
It's a complicated topic........

You can buy a Huasheng taper shaft with a built in generator
if you can live with a 2" wider motor.
They do not come with a clutch.
Bicycle engines are selling them on ebay.

If you bought one what gearbox would you use on it?
It has the same problem as the Titan.

I don't recommend buying from Gasbike.

My Titan xc50s has a 5/8 tapered non keyed shaft

Would a 5/8 tapered keyed clutch work... Like the ones shown on bicycle- engines?
