i recently purchased a motorized bike with an 80cc motor, it ran fine till the throttle cable broke, i've since replaced the throttle cable but now i can get it running while there is no weight on it. as soon as i get on it and try and start it it wont run unless i pedal like a fool and then dies right out... the adjustment screw doesnt seem to have any effect despite where it is???? getting frustrated please help!!!

you probably don't have he carb assembled right if it won't run correctly now, you said you replaced the throttle cable so that is where you should take it apart and look. the needle in the slide may be put in there wrong if so the needle will be free to move up and down when the slide isn't.
Like Norm said... in the cable/piston. Also if you have a NT carburetor, the screw is for idle only.
