You will see a diff between 20 and 30 and 40ah and it's not even.
lets say 20 ah will get you 20mi (that's very optomistic, esp in hills)
30Ah may get you 35mi and 40Ah more like 50mi.
The reason for this is that the percentage of the "C rate" that you suck has an effect on
overall performance.
I had a so called 20ah LiFEp04 and it got me like 15mi, boo. Got a 40 ah (12p8s 18650 cells) and a 45A balance system and I get an HONEST 45mi+ in Pittsburgh (very hilly)
On a bike that has a 450w chain drive, steel frame, 2.0 tires etc.. (currie ezip trailz)
This bike weighs around 75lbs and I weigh about 185 plus cargo like laptop etc..
I pull 35Amps on hills, this will CRUSH smaller batteries..
