Thanks guys. While it's true that we build motorized bikes & display the results on this forum I'd also like to think we're building community as well, one hand washing the other and all benefit as a result.

I was looking for a 1" adapter for my 7 speed mountain bike with 1" hub but I couldn't find the 1" size adapter with the 3 bolts at the time so I got this round one. It will fit 1" hubs and even comes with a shim to you can use it on smaller hubs. http://www.livefastmotors.com/produ...e-motor-clamshell-sprocket-adapter-small.html
It's got 9 bolts but it won't fit stock sprockets. It also don't come with a sprocket however, you can use it with these cheap sprockets sold by boy-go-fast on ebay and he has many different tooth sizes also. These sprockets will work with the 415 or a BMX 1/2 x 1/8 chain size.

i didn't read anything but the OP post. my opin on the adapter is, get a 6 bolt hub and 6 bolt sprocket. saves so much time and effort. makes chain alignment easy as pie. doesn't wear out the spokes. i've tried all the adapters and found the hub to the the cheapest, easiest solution. for $50 bucks i built a heavy duty rim the with 6 bolt hub. never have to worry about the hub or rag joint slipping at all. second to the hub is the rag joint. i've put thousands of miles on them with out a single failure. it's just they are ugly and time consuming to set up. hub with 6 bolts is just slap and go.
