Hey everyone, just for the record im not affiliated with klotz oil company. i know theres 6billion different opinions on oil. And id like to add to that. I have a dax gen 4 70cc "balanced" china girl. I was previously using yamalube 2s at 40:1. It was a good oil but it left spooge in the end of my torquer 2 exaust and it would drip onto my rear rim causing the braking ability to be nonexistent. And not having a rear brake on snow and ice is never a good thing. So onto the good part. I found klotz oils. Specifically r50 techniplate. Its a fully synthetic oil designed for sustained high rpm engines. This oil is THICK (50WT) and the flash point is 550°!! thats nuts for a synthetic. Their full castor has a flash point about 110° lower than that. Being so i ran about 30 miles on r50. About half of it at full throttle. 40 mph (according to speedo) on a 38t sprocket. 50:1 ratio with a 66 jet and e clip in the top notch. Leanest. (Speed carb). After a plug chop i took a 20 mile ride around the small town near my house. Running the engine hard. But being careful enough and watching for ice on the roads. I noticed it pulled smoother and just a bit quicker. It starts first bump now. When it used to take three or more times with the yamalube. I got cold so i rode home. Let it cool off and took the head off. This oil actually took some carbon deposits off the head! After i hit 100 miles with this oil ill do another post on here. Hopefully with pictures. Cause my phone is off at the moment. Ill do a top end teardown and post my results. Oh i almost forgot the best part. The exaust has a sweet syrupy smell to it! And the oil is red. I like red. Lol alright thanks guys.

It sounds like a great oil. You really grabbed my attention with the red exhaust though.
That sounds weird!
Nonono. The oil is red which makes my gas red. I like it better than the typical blue/green colors. The exaust is normal white smoke. Although Very little smoke when tuned right. My bad, didnt mean to be misleading :) and yes. What maniac said. Agreed 138% haha

Alrighty, when i switched oils i cleaned the carbon off just the piston. Heres the results after 107 miles using this oil. This engine has about 405 miles total. And i was running just slightly rich With this test.

Overall i have to say im pretty happy. When i took it apart everything had a nice coat of oil. I gained some noticable power. The engine runs smoother and there is no more wear from when i last checked the internals. (107 miles ago) klotz for the win!!
