carb problem?

hi i just did the stock carb mod on my z80 and now the motor dies unless you feather the throttle on.
when the revs are up the bike goes good but then as soon as you back off and idle the bike turns off even if you accelerate and it jus boggs any thoughts?

If it's bogging down and quiting when you try to accelerate, that sounds lean to me. Try richening up the mixture a little.

thanks i just put the needle 1 slot lower and it is sweet now
