Default Taking apart an older crank case?

Hi i am trying to get apart an old cruisers crank's. I take off the nut on the opposite side of the sprocket. Then the washers, and the crank case "cover". I can see inside but don't know how to get it apart. I need to take the crank sprocket off because its bent. I can get pics if needed.
