Question How Ignition work in the engine kits??

Hi.

I'm wondering how the ignition works in the engine kits... I saw on your pictures that it was attached on the frame.

Does it works like the magneto on the Chainsaws, lawnmowers?

Thanks

Yes, they have a magneto, and a CDI trigger. the black box on the frame is the CDI.

Ok, I understand...

but it is only linked to the engine by 2 little wires... How does it work, one with a 12vlots DC (I imagine) and the other is the signal to TDC?

These Chinese engines are 6v. Beyond that, I will let a more knowledgeable person speak on the way the ignition works....it's a very weak area of my "expertise".
