You can try gently bending the fin....if it snaps, oh snap! It won't hurt anything.

that's the way I'm' leaning toward & It would be no contest at all if the motor didn't look like it belonged on the red bike & it is soo muchlighter than theSuspension & disc brakes, baby!!
However, I'd have a difficult time saying that I was riding Gary Fisher....
Some suspension forks on the Trek and you would be good to go, and probably still be lighter that the Silver bike, or just go with it like it is and put a new V brake set on the front of it, suspension isnt a must have thing, but it is nice on the rough stuff.that's the way I'm' leaning toward & It would be no contest at all if the motor didn't look like it belonged on the red bike & it is soo muchlighter than the
