Help!!! 70cc Bike Broken...need Help

I have a 70cc dax china motor and its about 45 days old. Wow, running good and suddenly the small drive gear attached to the drive shaft that drives the bigger clutch gear stays still while the drive shaft turns. A wooddruff gear?? or what? Cant seem to break that big slotted screw that holds the small cranshaft gear to the crank. Anybody have this problem befor that can offer advice.

Sounds like a sheared woodruff key. You might try an impact wrench to get the screw loose, I have never messed with it before, but have read a few posts about the keys shearing......

Try some heat, penetrating oil (WD40 or ATF work just as well) and a BIG screwdriver. Give the screwdriver a good whack or two while it's in the slot.

Use a rag between the gears to keep things from moving.
