Hi everyone I'm new on this board, I've been looking into getting my first motorbike for some time.

I used to ride sportbike motorcycles like Ninja and GSXR's.

Is the Genesis Onyx a good platform to build on? I'm looking for a bike that can go fast in a straight, but also stop on a dime and handle well (most importantly be able to lean into corners, putting my knee down).

I know the bike needs better brakes for sure but how well does the bike handle?

I just delivered one of these bikes to a customer. The bike rides and looks fantastic! You will need a large-tube front motor mount setup as well as reworking the tank mount since the tubes are so large on this bike. I also had to grind the rear motor mount spacer block to fit the seat tube correctly. I'm going to build another one for myself as soon as my current inventory is gone. I really like these bikes! Go for it!
