Grubee 48cc vs PK80-J "does size matter"

It's easy to see the size difference in the top ends of these motors.
Allthough the overall size externally is close.
The Jug / Head And Piston of the PK80 are much bigger.
Also notice how the Combustion Chamber of the 48cc and the 68.5cc is allmost the same size.
Puzzling i'll tell ya. Guess this Slant Head is Higher compression.
And i believe if you set the head so it fires towards the exhaust it will run cooler.

Heres the pistons.
The Grubee is a flat top and the PK is Dome Shape.
The dome also adds to higher compression in the PK.

Notice the piston bosses both have holes in them for oil.
The PK was stock that way.
The Grubee i drilled the holes.

Ya i know the camera i have sucks when you try to keep the pictures small.
I'll have to work on that.
But you can see the size diff.

yes, and it was very informative thanks, if you saw my thread im going through camera woes too, my camera drains 2 lithium aa's in 5 pictures, and there super blurry garbage pictures too!

but hey thanks, cant make out the holes though?
Just bought me a new Kodak that cost 159.00 but got it on sale for 99.00....Its a Kodak easyshare M381....Im go glad to have a new camera to take pictures of my bike with....
