As the title implies......have you seen the latest Bizeta BZM 50cc reed motor? It's a crazy Italian powerplant that puts out 14hp and over 5ft/lbs of torque!

Of course it costs a tad bit more than your average China Girl kit motor and even more than a Morini.......it's $2,700, and they're out of stock atm.

If I was gonna build a 2-stroke race bike and was made of money, this is what I'd be workin' on. It comes with the Losi 5ive Pipe....what a deal?

You just had to bring in the "made of money" part didn't ya? To heck with your 2-stroke Bizeta, I'd use a Conley Stinger 609!

6.09ci (100CC), 6" wide, 8.25" tall (10" tall for s/c version), 14" long with transmission. Dry sump oiling. Weighs 11.25lbs.

5.5HP @ 9500RPM, 9HP for supercharged version. Less power than the Bizeta, but sounds like a V8, not like a bee on steroids :D

Cost? about $1000 per horsepower rotfl

BZMs are super fast motors. I played with the water cooled ones 8 years ago and mine tached out at 21K rpms. What sucked about them is the clutch shoes (which always had to be replaced after a day or two of racing) and it uses a 25h chain.
Here's a link to a website that sells a bunch of pocketbike motors.

Derbi on eBay for about $1K. Just thought maybe there were other options. Something about having a chunk of metal spinning at 20K rpm plus between my thighs would make me a little uncomfortable. I know it can be done well and safely, just sayin'....
