I want to make my own cables.what sizes do I need ? cable, conduit, ferrule, tips ???

broke my RT carb cable. the tip came off of the carburetor end. I want to repair it

and I'd also like to be able to make my own cables. I found some good links to videos, and links to parts, but I dont know what sizes to order. I need to know the following:

conduit size ? (5mm?)
ferrule size (5mm?)
cable size
cylindrical end size (that goes into the throttle grip)
ball end size (that goes into the carb.. both NT and RT sizes ??? )

Here are the videos I've watched, and also a link to lots of parts. in particular I need to know the wire diameter and what size BALL end to use for NT and for RT carbs. I really like the ball ends from flanderscables.

do it well, you don't want the end inside carb coming off & going into motor

All the cables are basic bicycle brake cables. Easiest way to do it is just buy a brake cable and make your own end for the carb.

I make the little ball end with a mig welder. One or two zaps gives you a perfect little ball.

There's also a sticky thread how-to on soldering the end.
