The National Cherry Blossom Festival is a spring celebration in Washington, D.C. commemorating the March 27, 1912, gift of Japanese cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo to the city of Washington. Mayor Ozaki donated the trees in an effort to enhance the growing friendship between the United States and Japan and also celebrate the continued close relationship between the two nations.
This could be a lot of fun for new motorbicyclist's, there's so much to see and ride thru in Washington, D.C. Georgetown is always a blast to ride thru as well!

i love the dc area and used to live in silver spring which is another nice area to drive around, the mongomery county mall which is not that far away from dc/ silverspring could be a nice meeting place, its central to about everything, im pretty much free monday through thurdsday all day, but on the weekends i work all day friday through sunday so when we do this i need a week advance notice so i can find someone to cover me at work. come all you dc area MB riders, SPEAK UP and lets RALLY!!
