I recently bought a speedometer for my motrbike and i was wondering if the spark coming from the plug can effect the speedometer in any way. I've been having troubles with the one ive installed on my bike.dnut

Yes they can mess up from the ignition causing interference.
I had several wireless speedometer's die from this and basically gave up.
You might try a wired unit and shield the wires with some braided cover.
Should be someone who has found one that works here...

I have had great results with wired and wireless speedometers, I do mount my ignition coil behind engine as far away from speedo as possible and I have found that using a suppressor/ graphite core sparkplug wire really helps block what I believe is called RF interference, I cant tell any performance difference between a solid core wire and the suppressor core wire on my bikes, but it will allow the wireless and wired speedos to work without acting crazy.

it's cheap, try it... you got me interested now too. I've heard of the wireless interference, and I could guess wired problems may occur.

I used a $20 Bell F12 speedo and it was accurate, it was crap... but it was accurate. The memory kept resetting and the lcd would freeze up around 40F.
