kioshk is right. Photos are almost a necessity here.
Chain clearance can be a bit tricky. But if you take some pics, then we're pretty likely to see some solution. So are you, for that matter. And then you won't even need the advice.
It sounds to me like your tires are wider than what the chain can clear. If both the top and bottom chain runs are rubbing the tire (chain is rubbing the tire in two spots), then this is almost certainly the case. Tires that are not as wide will solve the problem.
This is a thinner chain but it is one of the strongest BMX chains you can get. It has reinforced nickel plated links. It will not twist and has a breaking load of 12,000 newton so it will not break. It will slide through your engine sprocket much smoother than the bulky 415 and will give you more room to clear the tire. I had the same problem clearing the tire and this worked for me.
I also like the BMX half link chains like the shadow conspiracy chains, these are super strong and look great, you can also get them in some really cool color combos to match your bike... Here's one of their cooler looking ones, they're a bit pricy but great when you need good looks and a really tough chain... http://www.ebay.com/itm/SHADOW-CONS...747?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item25961f706b
