Hey guys, I'm just getting started on my OCC stingray build. I have no experience with motorized bikes, but i have decent technical skills and I'm working with a professional mechanical engineer. I'm thinking about purchasing the Grubee GT5. If you know of a better engine for the same price let me know.

I have also seen a lot about the livefast parts and barry's parts and I'm wanting to know if they are life or death necessities. This is my senior project for high school and I don't want to spend to much money. Chances are the engineer and I will just rig the bike through trial and error instead of purchasing conversion kits.

If you have any other comments and suggestions to help me I would greatly appreciate it. I will also keep you posted with pics and updates on the build.

I'd suggest you try this website for an StingRay Chopper build.

They have the higher quality engine mount, and exhaust pipe designed for the StingRay OCC Chopper builds.
