Hello I have been reading some of the posts on this forum and decided to join since it looked interesting. The main reason for joining is because I found an old engine at a local farm and hope that someone might have an idea of what it is and might have fit on. It is in need of some work but I hope to get it running. Thanks Rusty

"cyclemotor" was a pretty generic term for bike motors in the 40's and 50's. is there any other brand names on it? you could also do a patent search on it.

looks cool, and looks like you'll have your hands full trying to get it restored and running again. good luck!

Crazy thing about this engine, there are no ID tags. The only other letters/numbers on the engine are a cast "Patent Pend" and a stamped "906". It is driving me crazy. The cylinder looks like a Smith Motor Wheel but that is the only thing that I can find in pictures that resembles this engine.
Thanks Rusty
