Well, had a horrible experience today when the owner came to pick up his baby.
He is a little slow mentally and apparently got too excited to see his bike actually running. He got confused while testing it out and could not remember to let off the throttle to slow down, and he ended up crashing hard!
He lost a bunch of skin and tore the bike up quite badly, but thankfully, he managed not to hit his head in the crash.
Nothing I could do but watch him and hope for the best.
I now have a new policy about test rides:
ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR A HELMET! (and body armor if available) :)

He still left with a running bike and a huge grin on his face but somehow I don't feel good anymore about this entire episode.

Wow, that's pretty sad and somewhat ironic considering everything that went into the bike so far. It put a damper in this feel good post. Hopefully when he heals up he'll be more careful!

Some people should stick to pedals. At least he didn't run over anybody. I bet the bike is trashed in a week.
