Just wandering if this ratio is safe for a 66cc bike? (50:1)

Just broke in, looking to rid the crappy 20:1 ratio with mineral.

Does anyone else run this ratio?

Performance a bit better?

Dangers?

Cheers

I personally would only run a blended oil such as Klotz Super Techniplate 2-Stroke Oil or Maxima 927 if using that ratio.

I run Red Line pure synthetic 50:1. Why? Because that's what Red Line recommends. My bike doesn't smoke and you can barely smell it.

ams oil synthetic 50:1 on my last build. Ran quite a lot time with much abuse.

It finally died, but I think hydrolocking the engine once or twice, and always running around WOT right from start up killed it... not the oil.

In my china 2-strokes I've run Maxima K-2 fully synthetic and Maxima 927 at 50:1 with no probs after break-in. I use the Maxima 927 to break-in all of my 2-strokes at 30:1.....love the smell of that castor!

Important thing is to NOT run synthetic at break in. I'll probably do 50 miles or so on my new engine (if it ever shows up... been waiting 3 weeks now). The 50:1 or so afterwards. If I got well over 4000 miles on the last one with a few hydrolocks and serious abusive abuse, I think this next one should do just fine.

Just wondering if anyone has tried lucas semi synthetic? I found at a local auto parts, says no smoke I'm going to give it a try at 40 to 1.
