If your slide is sticking, and sometimes they do, you have two possible problems, the carb top is screwed on too tight, or the slide is sticking. If it is the latter, you can sand it with some 400 grit paper and a little light oil like WD-40 to get it to fit.

If the twist itself is sticking, you can trim it with an exacto knife, or sand the offending parts a bit as well.

Wipe a little oil on the slide with your finger, then when putting it back in, the slide has a groove down one side of the carb slide, that groove should be on the choke side. It should slide right in,if it dosnt youre doing it wrong, then hand tighten the nut on top.
Also do not tie the throttle cable tight to the bike frame,you can secure it with tape or plastic ties but leave a little loose and no sharp bends in the throttle cable when routing it to the handle bars.
