My engine dies when I brake. Is it supposed to do that?

When I pul the clutch, my engine slows down, choke, cough, then dies. Is it supposed to do that?

What is idle? Is that mean the running engine supposed to run at certain RPM?

How do I adjust idle? When the engine dies, I turn the screw to the right, then start it up and continue the process until it idles?

Thanks.

Idling is when you are not applying any throttle and it just runs at a low rpm. Just like a car does. You are correct that adjusting the screw to the right or clockwise will increase your idle speed. Make sure that your clutch is disengaging completely. If your clutch is dragging then you will need to adjust your idle higher than is necessary.
