i replaced the cylinder, piston and rings on my motor.
the new cylinder i got had wayyy smaller ports
the old cylinder has a dent where a piece of the carb got wedged in,
(the reason that i replaced them)
the dent is below the intake port,
almost as wide and about 1/2 inch down

with the smaller ports, i can feel the engine has more to go, but isn't giving it

if i put the old cylinder back on, what could happen?
where could i get this new one ported?

p.s. thw motor ran amazing for the few seconds when:
- i had a flat rear tire
- i had inadvertently shut the gas off,
right before it bogged out, it was running better that ever
why is that?^^ scratg.

any and all help is appreciated

I'm not too sure about your cylinder question, I'd like to see some
pics of it if you could. As for your faster engine and rpm, that indicates that you should lean the carb setting out by lowering the needle setting
(raising the clip). You might have to change your main jet to a smaller
jet too. Or solder the jet hole and redrill it a little smaller.

were would i get a smaller jet?
and also, i modified the pipe for my stingray, and the length before the bottle, which i guess is the muffler and expansion chamber, is alot longer than the regular
because of that, im assuming, im not getting as much power
