Hi. I've been toying with the idea of building a Schwinn Chopper e-bike instead of using a gas engine. Does anyone have any info if this has been done before? I am thinking of not using a hub motor and instead mounting a 48v 1000 w scooter motor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
